I am primarily interested in portrait photography. Specifically, I try to capture the essence of the person in what I call the "Iconic Image" of the individual. This is the image that you have in your mind when you remember that person; their expression, the contours of their face, the way they hold themselves, the look in their eyes. Every person is unique, has an inner beauty, and that's what I try to capture.
I use the Canon line of cameras and lens. My cameras are the Canon 1Ds Mark iii and the Canon 1Ds Mark ii. I use only prime lens because they render the most clarity and bokeh. My lens include the Canon 300mm f2.8L, Canon 135mm f2L, Canon 100 f2.8macro, Canon 85mm f1.8, Canon 50mm f1.4, and the Canon 24mm f2.8.
Most of my work in done on the client's site or in the field at locations where the client feels relaxed and comfortable or at events where the client is engaged and animated.
